BREAKING: Spiritual Development to ban Sitting in Chairs in Sutherland

BREAKING: In a statement delivered this morning, Spiritual Development announced they will now require students to sit on the floor in Sutherland during chapel.

"Starting the beginning of Spring Semester of 2018, Spiritual Development will require students to sit on the floor during chapels in Sutherland Hall. Spiritual Development has found that the use of chairs directly correlates to student attentiveness. When students use the chairs they are more likely to be on their computer or on their phone rather than listening to the speakers. Much like the banning of the balcony seating, the banning of the chairs in Sutherland will increase student attentiveness," read the statement.

As for now, campus opinions vary. Some see the ban as a restriction of comfortability and others see it as a way to grow spiritually.
