Secret Society Discovered on Campus

DEVELOPING STORY: Across many colleges there are different societies and fraternities which make up a unique population on campus. Most would point to the “Skull and Bones” society at Yale, which well known individuals such as President George W. Bush and Secretary of State John Kerry were a part of during their undergraduate career.

In 1959 Biola left their starting grounds on the corner of 6th and Hope and moved to a large olive grove far from its original city home. While most people would think that Biola simply wanted to expand, but new evidence possibly suggests that there were additional motives. According to records in the Biola Library, a group in the 1950's emerged from the Bible institute which was known as the “The Faithful Fluor.” Biola's president Sam Sutherland, Andrew McNally, Edwin Neff, and Dr. R. J. Spalding II bound together in acquiring and claiming the land which Biola currently resides on.

Today, a secret society founded by this "Faithful Fluor" is rumored to be currently active on this campus. However, what this group goes about doing is currently unknown by students and a majority of faculty members. Symbols of the society have been sighted all over Biola's campus.

This story is still currently under investigation. If you know any information regarding the society, please immediately contact The Bells at bellseditor@gmail.com.
