Family Guy’s Brian Bought Out By Javid

A deal that has been months in making has finally reached its culmination. Webseries Javid’s co-creators JJ Carroll and David Noble and Family Guy’s creator Seth MacFarlane have reached an agreement that gives Javid all rights to the character Brian, the Griffin family’s beloved talking dog.

The first sign of the deal was seen a couple of weeks ago when Brian was tragically killed off in a recent episode of the Fox animated TV show.

Twitter blew up over the death of the staple character and the hashtag #BringBackBrian soon became popular.

“We are so excited to bring back Brian in an exciting and new way. 14 years for a character is a long time to stay on a show, and imagine that in dog years. We are thrilled that the deal went through civilly because it was a long journey to get the rights,” JJ Carroll said.

Although it is uncertain to exactly why the character Brian was sold to Javid, fundraising site Kickstarter reports having large donations given to the Biola webseries for it to happen.

Some have speculated AS contingency funds were used in an effort to bring entertainment value to Biola’s online presence.

A FRESH START

“Brian was becoming stale on Family Guy and we believe we have the tools and creativity to breath new life into the character. Javid will be a great home for our favorite animated pet,” Carroll said.

Until Carroll and Noble have come up with a way to implement Brian in future episodes, Javid editor Sam Halleen has been hard at work strategically re-editing some of the past episodes to feature Brian Griffin.

It is also reported that animated versions of JJ and David are to make a cameo appearance in a future episode of Family Guy.

Carroll denies any rumors that the series name will be changed to “Javan” to include Brian into the brand.
